David Alan Tetz, 60, of Pahoa died Jan. 27 at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Champaign, Ill., he was a carpenter and spent much of his life in Glenwood Springs, Colo., Maui and Hawaii Island. Emmajean Campbell Weis, 85, of Frederick, Pa., died Feb. 1 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born in Webster, N.Y., she was a master seamstress, a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Gaithersburg, Pa., a former member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, also in Gaithersburg, and a member of the Clan Campbell Society.
