Breast cancer survivors and their ohana will be the focus of the second E Ola Kakou! sponsored by Hui Malama Ola Na ‘Oiwi and the Susan G. Komen Hawaii Foundation on Saturday morning at the Hilo Bayfront.

The event is to educate those at risk of developing cancer and celebrate survivors and their families. In addition to health information, agencies will offer free clinical breast exams and referrals for mammography exams. As part of this fun day, everyone is invited to participate in a canoe race featuring three divisions; survivors and their ohana, community agencies and local paddling clubs.

“Come be part of this fun-filled day starting 10 a.m. at Hilo Bayfront,” said Leimomi Shearer at Hui Malama Ola Na ‘Oiwi. For more info, call her at 969-9220.
