Born in Papaikou, she was a homemaker who formerly worked as a clerk for the military in Honolulu. She was also a member of the Naalehu Assembly of God Church. Memorial service 3 p.m. Sunday at Naalehu Assembly of God in Naalehu. Survived by niece and hanai daughter, Jermayne (Bruce) Powell of California; sister, Rose Surigao of California; sisters-in-law, Naomi Alcosiba and Connie Alcosiba of Hawaii; three hanai grandchildren and four hanai great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Richard Wayne Palea Mokuohai, 63, of Kailua-Kona died Nov. 16 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kealakekau, he was a landscaper. Celebration of life 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1 at Honaunau Beach.
