Hawaii Community College and the Office of Continuing Education and Training will offer an interesting agricultural learning experience from 5-9 p.m. every Wednesday night from March 26 through May 21.

“This series is a weekly opportunity for local gardeners and farmers to grow their understanding of the natural world. Students will be guided through the interesting world of soil science, plant health, soil and plant microbial relationships, and insects,” said instructor James Rushing.

Each week, Rushing will transform these complicated subjects into easy-to-understand, entertaining presentations. These tools will help improve your garden or farm by increasing plant yield and biological diversity, while reducing costs and improving the use of available resources. Class space is limited.
