A 10-week series of Korean Natural Farming classes starts Thursday at Sweet Cane Cafe at 1472 Kilauea Ave. in Hilo.

Jackie Prell, an organic farmer and certified KNF teacher, will lead the classes and share her experience and enthusiasm for organic farming.

Participants will be taught how to collect and culture indigenous microorganisms. Various garden inputs will be taught during this 10-week, hands-on class. Seedlings also will be distributed.

Seating is limited, so register in advance.
