HONOLULU (AP) — Board of Water Supply officials said crews completed repairs to a damaged Honolulu waterline that developed a leak.
Officials said work was finished about 5 a.m. Tuesday on the waterline, which was damaged by a contractor on Waialae Avenue near the Wilhelmina Rise intersection.
The damage to the line led to the closure of two Diamond Head lanes near Liliuokalani Elementary School. Officials said lanes were reopened.
The leak was reported shortly after midnight.
