Carol Maria Oania Andrews, 60, of Keauhou, died March 23 at home. Born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was a retired defense industry consultant. Private celebration of life. Survived by husband, Michael Andrews of Keauhou; brothers, Renato (Lydia) Oania of Cerritos, Calif., and Ruben Oania of Mililani; sisters, Alejandra (Jojo) Aczon, Merlinda Oania and Flordelis Oania of Aiea; nephews and one niece. Marilyn “Lyn” “Princess” Tina Loando, 70, of Kalaoa, Kona, died Feb. 13 at Life Care Center of Kona. Born in Waiaha, Kona, she was a retired funeral director for Dodo Mortuary in Kona, held numerous sales and agricultural positions, sang in St. Michael’s Catholic Church choir, was a charter member, president and vice president of American Business Women’s Association Konalani chapter, an associate member of the former Kohala Puerto Rican Club and president and director of March of Dimes. Visitation 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 4, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Kailua-Kona. Prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation again 8-10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at the church. Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kona Memorial Park in Holualoa. Luncheon and fellowship at the church’s luncheon area. Ohana requested to wear ohana attire; flowers welcome. Brenda “Bren” Lee Mendoza, 53, of Honomalino died Feb. 13 at Ka‘u Hospital. Born in Vancouver, Wash., she was a homemaker, owner of Rainbow Cottage preschool and an upholstery assistant. Leroy Kunio Padilla Sr., 65, of Wahiawa, Oahu, died March 6 in Aiea, Oahu. Born in Hilo, he was a retired chef. Oahu visitation 5:30-6:30 p.m. Saturday at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel. Memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Committal services noon Monday at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 in Hilo with celebration of life at 2 p.m. at Wailoa State Park large pavilion. Flowers welcome.
