HONOLULU (AP) — A justice of the Supreme Court of Canada plans to visit the University of Hawaii law school.
The university said Rosalie Silberman Abella will visit Hawaii for about a week, starting Saturday. She’ll be part of the Bright Jurist-in-Residence program at the law school.
The program was launched in 2007 to bring judges from other countries to Hawaii. Abella will teach two classes at the law school and meet with various people, including federal and state judges and members of Hawaii Women Lawyers.
She’ll also be giving a public talk Wednesday at the Hawaii Supreme Court.
