Rani “Denise” Ulrich, 65, of Keauhou died April 1 at home. Born in Elmhurst, Ill., she developed and supported software for J.C. Penney and Miller Brewing Company, as well as working as a fine artist in oil paints. She was a member of Waimea Arts Council and a former member of Kailua Village Artists. She was a member of Keauhou Canoe Club. No services planned. Survived by partner, John Lynch of Keauhou; mother, Rani Davidson of Belleair Bluffs, Fla.; brothers, Mike (Linda) Ulrich of Prescott Valley, Ariz., Todd Davidson of Belleair Bluffs, Fla., Scott (Robyn) Davidson of Seminole, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews.
