The Hawaii Police Department will host a community meeting noon-2 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at the Kona police station.

The Hawaii Police Department will host a community meeting noon-2 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at the Kona police station.

The purpose of the meeting is to allow the public to meet the Police Department’s command staff and discuss concerns with the police chief and commanders who oversee police operations in the Kona District.

Police request participation be limited to persons who live or work in the Kona District. Those interested in participating but unable to attend can email their concerns or comments to copsysop@co.hawaii.hi.us.
