Violet Correia, 86, of Kalopa died April 20 at Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua. Born in Kalopa, she was a homemaker and member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa and Paauilo Senior Citizens. Trevor Campos Ducusin, 29, of San Diego, California, he passed away Friday, April 11, in California. Born in the Urdaneta Pangasinan, Philippines, he graduated from Hilo High School and worked part-time jobs where he met his future wife, Lucy, who he married Feb. 23, 2009, before joining the Navy, in which he was stationed on the USS Higgins in San Diego, California. Friends may call Sunday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, visitation from 5-9 p.m.; funeral service at 6 p.m. Casual attire. A graveside service will be hosted at 9 a.m. Monday at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by wife, Lucy G. Ducusin of California; sons, Trevor Brennan Ducusin, Bryson Jay Ducusin and Tyrell-Ace Ducusin of California; mother, Elvie Ducusin of Keaau; father, Loreto Ducusin of Keaau; paternal grandfather, Manuel Ducusin of Keaau; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Yuriko N. Horiuchi, 81, of Kailua-Kona died April 21. Born in Wailuku, Maui, she was a teacher for the Hawaii school system. Survived by son, Glen Horiuchi of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Terri Horiuchi of San Francisco, Calif., Sheri Horiuchi of Redondo Beach, Calif., Dawna Gomes of Kaneohe, Myra Horiuchi of Seattle, Wash., and Keni Horiuchi of Suisun City, Calif.; brother, Robert Nishikimoto of Honolulu; and four grandchildren.
