The congregation of Hilo Meishoin, a Jodo sect Buddhist church, invites the public to its mini bazaar from 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, at the church at 97 Olona St. in Hilo.

On sale will be baked goods, oshi zushi, bara zushi, cone sushi, maki zushi, sekihan, a variety of pickled vegetables, laulau, smoked pork, fresh fish and bagged cinders. The cinders may be purchased at any time before the bazaar.

A concession booth will also be available during the bazaar.

“The purpose of this activity is to raise funds for much-needed repairs to the temple and the hall,” said spokeswoman Pat Ozeki.
