The Hilo Family and Community Education members will host their 35th annual FCE Fair 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Aunty Sally’s Luau Hale on Piilani Street in Hilo.
The Hilo Family and Community Education members will host their 35th annual FCE Fair 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Aunty Sally’s Luau Hale on Piilani Street in Hilo.
There will be handmade craft items, including quilts, rugs, hats, booties, kitchen towels, aprons and more.
Baked goods, jams and jellies and other delicious foods also will be for sale.
“A wide assortment of items available make it a great day for shopping for Boy’s Day, Mother’s Day, graduation or just for yourself,” said publicity chairperson Elizabeth Salfen.
Entertainment and food demonstrations are scheduled throughout the day, with the Hilo Pohnpei Choir performing at 10 a.m. Door prizes will be given throughout the fair hours.

There are 22 member states that make up the National Association for Family and Community Education, formally known as University Extension clubs affiliated with the Cooperative Extension Service, College of Tropical Agriculture, University of Hawaii at Manoa.
