Henry “Naka” Acedillo, 78, of Hawi died Friday, April 18, at home. Born in Kohala, he was a retired construction heavy equipment operator and a U.S. Army veteran. He was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hawi. Private services held. Survived by wife, Betty Acedillo of Hawi; son, Lawrence Acedillo of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughters, Stephanie (Jason) Hanano of Hawi and Leslie (Robin) Ashimine of Hawi; brothers, Zoilo Kupukaa of Honolulu, Manuel (Helen) Acedillo of Honolulu, and Walter (Tessie) Rickard Jr. of Kaneohe, Oahu; sister, Violet Lee of Honolulu; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Henry Inaina Miyamoto, 71, of Pahoa died at the Hilo Medical Center on Monday, April 14. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired fireman with the Honolulu City and County Fire Department. Friends may call at the Maku‘u Marketplace in Pahoa, on Saturday from 9-11 a.m., where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Dorothy “Dee” Kauaula of Pahoa; sons, Michael I. (Nicol) Miyamoto of Kaneohe, and Clifford (Sherl) Kauaula of Waipahu; daughters, Dannielle (George) Iuta of Hilo, and Kimberlee (Lawrence) Kauha‘aha‘a of Makawao, Maui; sisters, Carol Aulani Takatsuka of Wailuku, Maui, and Wendy (Kenji) Karimoto of Keaau; hanai daughter, Crystal (Elroy) Toribio of Hilo; hanai sons, Charles Kamaka of Pahoa and Abel “Woody” Woods of Pahoa; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Leanette “Neda” Lorna Nava, 58, of Waimea died April 13 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Hilo, she was an executive housekeeper for various hotels in Hawaii. Rochelle Nissa Villegas, 45, of Hilo died Wednesday, April 16, at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in California, she worked as a waitress and a traveler.
