May is Skin Cancer Detection &Prevention Month.

The Kona Hospital Foundation will host guest speakers Dr. Monica Scheel, dermatologist, and physician’s assistant Patsy Colvin in a discussion about “Understanding Skin Cancer. A Conversation About Facts, Myths and Protecting Your Skin.”

This free informational lecture will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at the West Hawaii Civic Center’s Community Meeting Hale (Building G).
