A 30-year-old Keaau man was killed early Sunday morning in a one-vehicle crash in Hilo.
According to police logs, the collision occurred at about 4:24 a.m. on the Puainako Street extension below Wilder Road.
The man’s name has not yet been released by police.
The death is the 7th official traffic fatality on Big Island public roads this year.
