Veronica “Boning” Ramelb Limayo, 64, of Keaau died Monday, May 19, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was a former housekeeper at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center, a former papaya packer for the Diamond Head Papaya Company and the Hawaiian Fresh Products. She was also a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Keaau and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Visitation from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo; Wake Service at 7 p.m.; All-night vigil to follow at the family residence in Keaau. Visitation continues from 8-9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo; Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.; Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire. Survived by husband, Carlito Limayo of Keaau; son, Sherwin (Lae Anne) Limayo of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter, Sheila Mae Limayo of Honolulu, Oahu; mother-in-law, Nancy Ramelb of Hilo; brothers, Reynaldo Ramelb of Kauai, Domingo Ramelb of the Philippines and Jose (Evelyn) Ramelb of Orchiland; sisters, Isabel (Juan) Agpaoa of Keaau, Cecilia Ballesteros of Keaau, Araceli (Bernard) Corpuz of Keaau, Myrna (Elmer) Sumaoang of Keaau and Rosie Sumaoang of Keaau; sister-in-law, Carlina Ramelb of Keaau; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
