Keaau High will be accepting applications for junior varsity/varsity softball coach.
Those interested may pick up an application at the school’s main office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
The deadline to submit an application is June 13, and all applicants must be willing to complete an interview and background check as part of the selection process.

Free tennis
clinic in Waimea
There will be a “Kids for Kids” tennis camp from 9 a.m. to noon June 16-20 at the Waimea Park tennis courts.
The program will be instructed by Bryce Zeffert, Hawaii Prep boys co-captain, focusing on fundamental skills, fitness exercises, instruction and games.
Space is limited to 15 players, and campers will receive a free camp T-shirt, lunch, drinks and snacks. Equipment will be provided or participants can bring their your own.

Basketball camp
set for Honokaa
The Big Island All-Stars Honokaa Basketball Camp will be held Friday through Sunday at Honokaa Parks and Recreation Gym, and walk-ins will be accepted.
The camp is for children who just completed kindergarten through eighth grade, and the fee is $50.
Registration begins Friday (7:30 a.m., kindergarten-third grade or 8 and younger; noon, grades 4-8 or 9 and older).
The session for the younger group runs 8:30 a.m.-noon, while the older group goes 1-4:30 p.m.
