Hawaii Island Pride is recruiting vendors for its second annual LGBT Pride Parade and Festival to be held on Saturday, July 12, in Hilo. The celebration will begin with a parade from 11 a.m. to noon. Parade participants will line up from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Ben Franklin Arts & Crafts, followed by a festival at the Mo‘oheau Park Bandstand until 4 p.m.

“The festival will feature live entertainment, great food, crafts from local merchants, as well as informational booths from community groups. This will be a family friendly event with activities and fun for all ages,” said spokeswoman Eden Patino.
