ST. LOUIS (AP) — A prominent St. Louis work of art is moving to Lambert Airport.
The St. Louis-based Gateway Foundation will loan the sculpture “China China” by Chinese artist Zhu Wei to the airport for 10 years, with extension options. It will be displayed by July in the Terminal 1 ticketing level lounge.
The 6-foot-tall bronze sculpture features two ancient Chinese tomb-like figures and was most recently displayed in a Central West End neighborhood of St. Louis.
