Born in Hilo, she was a retired cafeteria worker for Washington Middle School and member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Pauoa, Honolulu. Born in Olaa, she was a retired sales and mail-order clerk for Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co., former member of Haili Congregational Church and member of New Hope Christian Fellowship and Lehua Senior Bowling League.
