The College of Continuing Education and Community Service at the University of Hawaii at Hilo will offer a workshop on “How to Deliver Exceptional Customer Service Over the Phone” from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Friday, July 18, at the Kuakini Tower at 75-5722 Kuakini Highway in Kailua-Kona. Tuition is $150.

The informational course will cover specific telephone communication skills, provide tips when dealing with difficult customers and talk about making every call count, among other customer service techniques and topics.
