Two to three days of sewer work will begin next week at the intersection of Ponahawai Street and Kilauea Avenue. Roadwork will follow at the Kapiolani Street intersection.
Special duty police officers will direct traffic at that intersection.
Construction hours are 8:15 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays. Street parking will not be allowed in the area the contractor is working.
Roadwork will also include traffic signal system upgrades at the intersections of Kilauea Avenue and Kinoole and Kapiolani streets and pavement restriping.
