Nighttime construction work will begin at the intersection of Kamehameha Avenue and Pauahi Street, weather permitting. The night work schedule is Monday-Friday until July 25.
The Bayfront Highway-Pauahi St. intersection will close during nighttime construction.
Motorists traveling to Hamakua should use Waianuenue Avenue to enter Hawaii Belt Road. Hilo-bound motorists on Hawaii Belt Road must turn right at Waianuenue Avenue.
Shoreline access will be provided from Waianuenue Ave and Hawaii Belt Rd intersection.
