The Alzheimer’s Association will present lecture programs Aug. 2, 9 and 16, at the Aging and Disability Resource Center, 1055 Kinoole St. in Hilo.

A three-part series about “What Is Dementia,” “Legal Affairs in Dementia” and “Challenging Behaviors in Dementia” will begin at 1 p.m.

A series of 3 p.m. movies will include “Age Old Friends” on the first day, “A Song For Martin” on the second Saturday, and “Memories of Tomorrow” on the final day.

At 5 p.m., a three-part series called “Living with Forgetfulness” will be offered for anyone who is forgetful and their family members.

Alzheimer’s Association Hilo Program coordinator Chris Ridley will present the six workshops and three movies.
