Come to a free open house from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, at Hawaii Community College in Building 379, Room 1. Staff will be available to explain how you can join the “fast track” to earn college credits and certificates in sustainable construction, sustainable lot design, virtual office assistant, business essentials, retail essentials, entrepreneurship and business foundations.

Staff will help attendees complete a college application and guide them through the process.

There will be demonstrations of an online classroom and gadgets used for geographical information systems (GIS), geomatics and land survey practices. Information about non-credit training in process technology and industrial maintenance and boating safety certification also will be available. Hear about internship opportunities and how your work experience, military service and professional training could count toward college credit.
