The community is invited to a special church unity event — Ho‘omana I Ke Akua! Worship God! — from Thursday to Saturday, July 17-19, at the William Charles Lunalilo Center at Kamehameha Schools Hawaii in Keaau.

The community is invited to a special church unity event — Ho‘omana I Ke Akua! Worship God! — from Thursday to Saturday, July 17-19, at the William Charles Lunalilo Center at Kamehameha Schools Hawaii in Keaau.

Worship teams from throughout the Big Island will perform in the school’s auditorium and chapel.

Admission is free.

The schedule is as follows:

• 6:30-9 p.m. Thursday: Youth/College Night.

• 6:30-9 p.m. Friday: Cultural Worship Night.

• 6:30-9 p.m. Saturday: Contemporary worship — filling the auditorium with praise.

The festival of fellowship and praise is sponsored by the Kamehameha Schools Christian Education Department.

Participating churches and ministries include Haili Church, Living Waters, Kinoole Baptist Church, Sure Foundation Keaau, New Hope Volcano, Hilo Missionary Church, Kurtistown Assembly of God, Kalapana-Mauna Kea Church, Thy Word Ka‘u, Zion House of Praise, Glad Tidings, Puna Baptist Church, Engage, Overcoming Faith Center, Thy Word Hilo, Solid Rock Puna, Lighthouse Outreach Center, Throne Room Worship, Daughters of God, Eluvia, No Ka Nani Ke Akua, Testify, Aloha Ke Akua and many others.
