NEW YORK (AP) — If you’re not afraid of things that go bump in the night, an adults-only sleepover at the American Museum of Natural History could be just what you’re looking for.
The New York City museum will have its first-ever sleepover adventure for adults 21 years old and older on Aug. 1.
It’s a far cry from the kiddie version.
For one thing, the charge is $325 for museum members and $375 for nonmembers.
A champagne reception, music and a three-course dinner are on tap.
Then, it’s off to explore the museum’s enormous dinosaur skeletons and African mammals. There’s also a flashlight tour of the darkened fossil halls.
Participants will unroll their sleeping bags under the popular 94-foot-long blue whale.
The nocturnal adults-only adventure is scheduled from 6:30 p.m.-9 a.m.
