Charles Shizuo Doi, 84, of Pahala died July 4 in hospice. Born in Pahala, he was an Army sergeant first class who served in the Korean War. Funeral services to be held at Punchbowl National Cemetery on Wednesday, July 30, at 11:30 a.m. Survived by wife, Sharie Doi; daughter, Corinne Doi-Majorino; son, Warren Doi; and sister, Connie Fukumoto.
