Jamba Juice and Hilo Habitat for Humanity are partnering to offer tasty smoothies from 3-6 p.m. Fridays, July 18 and 25, and 2-5 p.m. Sunday, July 27, in front of Wal-Mart.

Smoothies cost $4.50, and 90 cents of each drink sold will go directly to Hilo Habitat for Humanity to build more affordable housing in East Hawaii.

Jamba Juice will bring its staff and supplies to Wal-Mart so shoppers can conveniently enjoy smoothies while also contributing to a good cause. The event was organized by Parker Godwin, a Hilo Habitat for Humanity ReStore regular volunteer.
