HONOLULU (AP) — A 25-year-old Maui man died after falling from a trail on Kauai.
Police say the man was hiking on the Waimea Canyon Trail with two friends Tuesday afternoon when he fell about 700 feet.
Kauai responders in a helicopter went to the scene and found the man’s body. The body was recovered.
The man’s name was not immediately released.
