Toshio Nagai, 75, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 1 in Crystal River, Florida. Born in Honokaa, he was an electronic technician for the Department of Defense and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard. After retirement he was employed at Avis Rent a Car, Jack Tours, and KTA Keauhou. He was a member of Kona Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, Shinwakai, Waiaha Kumiai, and the Kona Young Farmers. Friends may call at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, at the Kona Hongwanji Buddhist Temple in Kealakekua, for a 4 p.m. memorial service. Private inurnment at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Norman M. Tokuda, 74, of Aiea died July 28. Born in Honohina, he was a retired plumber and a U.S. Army veteran. Visitation 5 p.m. on Thursday (Aug. 14, 2014) at Nuuanu Memorial Park &Mortuary, service 6 p.m. Committal service 11:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl). No flowers. Survived by wife, Audrey S. Tokuda; son, Kevin M. Tokuda (both of Aiea); daughter, Kristy S. Tokuda of Minnesota; and sisters, Irene Yamashiro of Honolulu, and Betty Inouye of Aiea.
