The Pacific Internship Programs for Exploring Science (PIPES) program concludes its 21st year of programming with a 2014 student symposium on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 7-8. The sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Hale‘olelo auditorium on the University of Hawaii at Hilo campus. The event is free and open to the public.

A total of 40 student interns in the Micronesian &American Samoan Student Internship Program, University of Hawaii Hawaiian Internship Program, and the Research Experience for Undergraduates program will share their program highlights, research results, resource management and outreach experiences during the event, which will be followed by an ‘Aha ‘Aina.
