This month’s ‘Imiloa Tea Chat with JoAnn Aguirre will take participants on a cosmic exploration of the Earl Grey tea made popular by the Star Trek television series.
“Join us at ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center on Thursday, Aug. 14, at 2 p.m. and discover more about Earl Grey and the surprising ways NASA integrates tea into its programs on the International Space Station,” Aguirre said. “Admission is free and delicious tea and light pupus will be served.”
Aquirre is the owner of the Teaching Tea shop located at 697 Manono St., Suite 108B, in Hilo.
