Impaired driving while intoxicated by alcohol continues to be a concern in Hawaii County, police said.
In addition, police have noticed an increase in driving while impaired on illegal drugs, prescription medication or both.
Police remind motorists not to operate a motor vehicle if their prescription medication packaging or physician advises against doing so.
