Steven “Steve” P. Bowles, 76, of Waimea died Aug. 17 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Honolulu, he was a water and land resource management consultant, owned Waimea Water Services, and served on the Hawaii Island Fire, Agriculture, and Energy Advisory commissions, and the board of Kahua Ranch. Visitation 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30 at Thurston Memorial Chapel at Punahou School in Honolulu. Service at 10:30 a.m. service. Big Island service 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6 at Kahua Ranch. Aloha attire; no flowers.
