Glenn Douglas Cornick, 67, of Hilo died Thursday at home. Born in England, he was a founding member and bass player for Jethro Tull, founder of the band Endangered Species, and was involved in the local musical scene. Celebration of life to be held. Survived by spouse, Brigitte Martinez-Cornick of Hilo; sons, Alex Cornick of Hilo and Drew Cornick of Fullerton, Calif.; daughter, Molly Matilda Martinez of San Pedro, Calif.; one cousin. Yoshiko Narikiyo, 95, of Hilo and formerly of Kaunakakai, Molokai, died Aug. 11 at the Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Honohina, she was a founding member of the Kaunakakai Baptist Church. Private service held. Survived by sons, Clifford Narikiyo of Los Angeles, Yoshito (Valerie) Narikiyo of Honolulu and Steven (Gwenne) Narikiyo of Hilo; daughters, Janet (Jim) Linardos of Seattle and Coleen Narikiyo of Kaunakakai, Molokai; son-in-law, Harry Yamanaka of Hilo; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. Keith Gordon Kunimura, 66, of Hilo died Aug. 19 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a carpenter and Meadow Gold Dairies processor. Marilyn Lines Coday, 87, of Waimea died Aug. 25 at home. Born in Springfield, Mo., she was a retired public school teacher and librarian. Private family services held. Stephen “Steve” Thomas French, 51, of Hilo died Aug. 9 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Arcadia, Calif., he was a truck driver for Suisan, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and member of Family Christian Center in Hilo. Visitation from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Dodo Mortuary chapel; funeral service at 5 p.m. Graveside committal service at noon Monday, Sept. 8, at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Aloha attire.
