William Thomas Bell Jr., 73, of Clarksville, Tenn., formerly of Hilo, died Sept. 4 at home. Born in St. Louis, he was a former LPN at Hilo Medical Center, U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran and member of Faith Outreach Church. Visitation 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, Clarksville. Services with full military honors at 1 p.m. Survived by sons, William (Sonya) Robb of Anchorage, Alaska, Darryl (Rachel) Bell, Reginald Bell, Dwayne (Beverly) Bell of Virginia, and William (Kristen) Bell of Nevada; daughters, Denise Freeman and Barbara (Ronald) Gunter of Clarksville, Vanessa (Juan) Sapp and Corinna Kanaina of Anchorage, Alaska, Michelle (Albert) Robb of Hilo, Patralynn (Scott) Turner of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Shandra Bell; brother, Rickey (Barbara) Bell of Omaha, Neb.; 39 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Karen Jean Guerreiro, 60, of Ocean View died Aug. 30 at home. Born in Vallejo, Calif., she was an administrative assistant at Kona Community Hospital. Private services. Allen “Katch” Kazuto Ogawa, 81, of Kapaau died Sept. 5 at home. Born in North Kohala, he was a retired county mechanic, private plumbing contractor and U.S. Army veteran. Private services. Margaret Elizabeth Virtue Shaneyfelt, 96, of Old Fort, Tenn., died Aug. 28 at home. Born in Lebanon, Ind., she was an accomplished artist. Interment at 9 a.m. Friday at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 in Hilo. Survived by sons, William Robert Shaneyfelt, Thomas Wayne Shaneyfelt, Jon David Shaneyfelt and Ted Virtue Shaneyfelt; daughters, Margo Jo Wilson, Cecelia Bea Coggins, Betty Alyce Finch and Shirley Ann Cook; 21 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
