Hawaiian Telcom said Thursday it restored service to all Big Island customers affected by Tropical Storm Iselle.
Crews are now doing a final sweep throughout the Puna District to identify and address any outstanding items.
Customers who do not have phone or Internet service are advised to call Hawaiian Telcom’s 24-Hour Service Center at 643-6111.
Over the next two weeks some customers may experience a temporary loss of service of about two hours as Hawaiian Telcom crews replace equipment. These temporary disruptions do not need to be reported unless the outage continues past 6 p.m.
Hawaiian Telcom will continue to provide free wi-fi service at the Hawaiian Paradise Park Activity Center and the Pahoa Community Center through the end of September. Hours of operation: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Consumers should bring their own wireless devices, laptop computers, tablets and smartphones.
