HONOLULU (AP) — A man was killed and two others injured in three Sunday motorcycle crashes.
A 46-year-old Honolulu man died of injuries suffered in a 1:30 a.m. crash.
The man was on Kamehameha Highway near Arizona Street in Aiea when he lost control and hit a metal guardrail.
The man was thrown from the bike. He was wearing a helmet but sustained major lower torso injuries.
He died at Queen’s Medical Center. Police said speed might have been a factor.
A 26-year-old Ewa Beach man crashed about 90 minutes later on the H-1 Freeway below the Middle Street overpass. He also hit a guardrail. He was taken to Queen’s in critical condition.
A 25-year-old man was seriously injured Sunday night in a crash on the H-2 freeway.
