According to a police log, 29-year-old Jeffrey Paul De Castro of Hilo was arrested on suspicion of robbery at a home on West Kahaopea Street on Friday afternoon.
He’s alleged to have punched a 32-year-old woman, choked her unconscious, and then taken her purse and cell phone Monday afternoon in Panaewa.
He had not been charged as of Saturday morning, according to Sgt. Paul Kim of Hilo Patrol.
