Jonah Umauma Puhipau Kelekolio, 39, of Hilo died Sept. 1 at Maui Memorial Hospital. Born in Hilo, he was a lead kitchen utility worker for Kamehameha Schools Hawaii Campus, a former cook at Seaside Restaurant, a former security guard at HSI, a former haku apprentice with Alu Like’s Youth Offender Project, and a cook at the former Woolworth’s Restaurant in Hilo. He was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Keaukaha Ward, and an alii with the Royal Order of Kamehameha I, heiau o Mamalahoa. Visitation from 8-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the LDS Hilo Stake Center, 1373 Kilauea Ave., Hilo. Funeral Service at 11 a.m.; burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima Section. Aloha attire.
