The 70th Pahoa High School Alumni Reunion scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 4, is beiong postponed.
“Our fellow Daggers Alumni who are part of the planning committee live in the Pahoa area, so are busy getting themselves and family members ready to evacuate. So that they can focus on preparing themselves, family and friends, it was decided that the reunion should be postponed to a later date,” said spokesman Jason Hashimoto.
If you already purchased your ticket, you can keep the ticket for use when the reunion is rescheduled, or return the ticket and get a refund.
You may still turn in your orders for the shirts and cookbook.
Once things settle down, the planning committee will gather to find another date to proceed with the reunion.
“Thank you for your understanding,” Hashimoto said. “Family comes first, and we want our fellow alumni to be safe as they prepare. We wish all our community the best as we all deal with a lot of uncertainty.’
