WAILUKU, Maui (AP) — A South Korea man died Sunday in ocean water off a Maui beach.
Maui police say the man was spotted motionless at 3:24 p.m. in the water off Kaanapali Beach, also known as Black Rock.
Responders attempted CPR to resuscitate him on shore but he was pronounced dead.
Police say he was identified as 31-year-old Woonsaek Baek.
An autopsy was scheduled to determine cause of death.
