A breakout near the front of the June 27 lava flow advanced another 100 yards to the north as of Monday morning, according to Hawaii County Civil Defense.
The flow did not advance at its farthest point, though activity was seen on its northern margin.
The next community meeting on the lava flow will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Pahoa High School cafeteria.
