Although I was glad to have seen Emma Watson stand up for her cause in front of an audience numbering in the millions, I am disappointed that so many words were used simply in dispelling the mythos and propaganda built up around anti-feminist sentiments. I’m not trying to say she did not use her time wisely. I do, however, think that it’s unnerving that the audience was so ignorant that she had to provide correct background knowledge on the subject.
All this before getting to the more interesting matter of greater male involvement in the movement.
This story is nothing new! Marxism-Leninism, Black Power and many other leftist concepts have taken flak in the same way. The opposition simply cites the texts out of context, then explodes and distorts them. Or a myth about the movement is repeated until many regard it as true, and then the myth is discussed as if real, thus avoiding the original problem altogether.
Not only do these people state fiction as fact, they get great masses of naive minds to accept the lies as truth, who then repeat their new-found “knowledge” with a dogmatic fervor.
Many of these living recording devices then turn the cheek when the “racist Black Panthers” or “female chauvinists” are suppressed or even stripped of their rights. Others sometimes join in the fight to quell the new ideology, which challenges racist, sexist and classist power systems. A good example of this being the McCarthyist witch hunts.
But don’t take my word for it! Read, research, think, theorize, discuss and debate. You will see the truth, and organization and unity will come more easily.

Tax all incoming flowers 5 percent of value to pay for more inspectors.
Give our agriculture inspectors a $500 bonus for every bug found in incoming plants, or $1,000 for egg clusters.
Fine the offender $10,000 per bug, $50,000 for egg clusters. Use the fine money for more inspectors.
If we do not, we will have grass leaches, malaria and a crippled tourist industry. Land values will plummet, and our economy will crash.
If tourists have to take shots before coming here, they will opt for a destination with monkeys.
