Norman Lowell Brown, 84, of Hilo died Oct. 6 at Hospice of Hilo’s Pohai Malama Facility. Born in Champaign, Ill., he was a security officer at the Waiakea Villas, Kaikoo Mall and Hilo Shopping Center, a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Hilo Congregation, and a U.S. Army military police officer.
