The Parises founded The Pain Behind the Badge, an organization to help first responders understand and deal with the stresses of their careers. Through their “Winning the Battle” seminars, the couple’s goal is to prevent job-related suicides and offer practical help to first responders and their families struggling to deal with the stresses associated with their careers.

Clarke Paris is the creator/producer of “The Pain Behind the Badge” film and has 27 years of experience as a police officer. Tracie Paris has been a registered nurse for 29 years and has experience in E.R./trauma and ambulatory care. The Parises have traveled the nation and overseas presenting their “Winning the Battle” seminar to thousands of police officers, military personnel, first responders and their spouses.
