A 16-year-old boy was charged Sunday with terroristic threatening and turned over to the jurisdiction of Family Court. Court documents filed by police identify him as the younger brother of 21-year-old Atkinson Nakashima of Pahoa, who was charged with attempted second-degree murder for his alleged role in the same incident.

The victim, 21-year-old Tanielu David Aiava of Hilo, was taken to Hilo Medical Center in stable condition with a neck injury. He’s since been released from the hospital.
