Yukie Tanaka, 91, of Hilo and formerly of Waimea, died Oct. 24 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Mountain View, she was co-owner/business manager of Tanaka Electric, a senior citizen hula instructor and a member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin Kyodan, Buddhist Women’s Association and Hawaii Japanese Center.
